Swan Point is in southern Maryland on the Potomac, an hour south of DC depending on where you are.
It's a vintage Southern Maryland course, a Carolina-style feel with pine tree lined fairways, forced carries over marsh, and some very tight landing areas with brutal par-3's on the backside. The course was designed by Bob Cupp in 1988, and from the back tees is 6,859 yards, 73.1/130, course/slope with four shorter tees. You're in total isolation in natural surroundings, it's just a hike to get here.
