Sunland Golf Club is about 20 minutes east of Port Angeles in Sequim.
The course routing is over flat land through a residential development, and while the fairways are lined by homes they're mostly blocked by the firs, sequoias, spruce and cedar trees with great views of the Olympic Mountains. It's a tight course with a frequent OB, sand, and several water features. It will play to just over 6,023 yards at a 125 slope from the white tees, and a true shot maker's delight. The course has been around since the early 1970's as part of the real estate community development, and was designed by Ken Putnam.
