Red Apple Inn golf course is north of Little Rock just over an hour and west of Heber Springs on Greers Ferry Lake.
The golf course is routed over a peninsula surrounded by the Lake in the foothills of the Ozarks. While there are vacation homes along the exterior of the golf course, it's very scenic with corridors of tree lined fairways over some change in elevation with sand bunkers primarily greenside and several water hazards. It was designed by Gary Panks and is 6,431 yards from the back tees, par 71, 76.5/142, course/slope ratings with two shorter tee boxes. Also there's a very interesting clubhouse, inn and restaurant designed by E. Fay Jones, a Frank Lloyd Wright protege.
