Quechee Lakes is a 6,000 acre planned community an hour north of Manchester located along the Ottaquechee River, and is a private club, but available to guests of several local resorts and hotels with two 18 hole layouts.
The Highland Course was designed by Geoffrey Cornish and rolls through tree lined fairways with significant elevation changes throughout. The layout requires navigating through trees, around stone walls, and streams with frequent uneven lies. The course measures 6,840 yards from the back tees, 72.7 course rating and 134 slope with six shorter tees.
The Lakeland Course, also by Cornish, is 6,671 yards from the tips, with a course rating of 72.2 and a slope of 131. The layout favors an open-links style of design with broad fairways running along the Ottauquechee River for a few holes.
