Pittsburgh National is out in the country without houses lining the course. There's a good mix of holes, some tight and tree lined while others more open and forgiving off the tee with some movement to the land. It's bentgrass from tee to green, the course plays from 5,100 yards to 6,900 yards, designed by Ron Forse, the white tees are 6,464 yards, 71.2/135.
It's at least an hour northeast of Pittsburgh off the PA Turnpike at exit 39, then north to Bakerstown and east to the course.
