Olde Oaks is located southeast of Shreveport/Bossier City area routed through a residential development and considered one of the top public facilities in the area.
The layout has three 9 hole courses between 3,300-3,450 yards from the tips, all designed by Hal Sutton in his first golf course architecture attempt. The routing is through rolling terrain with mature trees bordering the fairways with frequent sand and water hazards in play along the fairways and greens. The Meadows is more open off the tee while the Cypress and Oaks are somewhat target style.
