Jay Peak is a winter resort for skiing, but also has a great golf course for the short summer. It's located in far northern Vermont, just a few miles south of the Canadian border between I-87 & I-91.
The course is a pure mountain design experience in the Green Mountains. The front side is routed along the base of Jay Peak and around the Jay Branch Brook while the backside runs up into the West Bowl area with some good change in elevation. It's a very challenging layout with forced carries, sloping and hilly, tree lined fairways with small and quick greens. It was designed by Graham Cooke and plays to 6,874 yards, 73.1/138, course/slope ratings from the tips with three shorter tees.
