Bella Collina is on the far northwest side of Orlando near the Turnpike and US 50 and the Clermont area. It's part of a proposed residential community by an over-zealous developer that never took off. The golf course is routed on land overlooking a dead lake (pesticides) on a 1,900 acre tract of land where only a few homes have been built.
It was designed by Nick Faldo and Steve Smyers, has a massive 50,000 square foot clubhouse, and both the course and the clubhouse continue to be well maintained. It's a strong course over rolling hills and sand dunes, mounded fairways, massive bunkers with complex greens. There's water on only one hole, the fairways are wide open and ranging, the bunkers plentiful, and the greens massive. There's a variety of tees, the middle tees are 6,500 yards, 131 slope.
