Wynyard Golf Club is in the North East of England on the border of County Durham and Teesside, about 1.5 hours north of Leeds. Very nice parkland course that stands up well enough, and in the clubhouse you'll find everyone from judges to bricklayers, with guests feeling very welcomed. The course is routed over the Wynyard Estate, and is a beautiful setting for a course. From the back tees, it will play to 7000 yards, par 72, SS 73, designed by Martin Hawtree in 1996, with half the holes bordering residences, the other woodlands or open. Forgiving off the tee, but well bunkered along the fairways and greenside, with some favorable elevation change.

This place is a winner in my books. The course gets a ton of play and the superintendent does a great job keeping the course in good shape. A great value too.
