Located in World Golf Village in St. Augustine, 15 miles south of Jacksonville, right off I-95. The course is 6935 yards, 135 slope from the tips with 4 other sets of tees. It was designed by Bobby Weed with Sam "Slammer" Sneed, and Gene "Squire" Sarazen , and opened 1998. In my opinion, is this were named Pinewood Fairways, it would be your typical Florida type parkland course with tree lined fairways, water and marsh lining the course, and plenty of sand, and would command $75 a round in season. But since it's part of World Golf Village, and the land and development, and design fees were over the top, it tends to be expensive when compared to other area courses. It's extremely well maintained, and the guest service here is impeccable, and if you're staying here, there are stay and play packages, and you can visit the museum.
