Woodbridge is on the far west side of Allentown in Kutztown, take the Rt 100 exit off I-78 to US 222, west to Independent Road, then north to the golf course. It's a relatively new layout, wide open, part link-style, part traditional over rolling hills, and is fun, yet challenging to play. It's not all that long at 6,200 yards from the tips, with a good mix of holes, long par 5's and par 3's, short and drivable par 4's, and a par of 70. The course straddles two counties, Berks and Lehigh, and is routed over land with a nice change in elevation. The front nine is a good warm-up for a tougher back side, wide open fairways, big greens, bunkering mostly around the greens and some water in play. The backside gets up into the hills and is more parkland in nature with tree lined fairways, smaller greens, and tighter approaches. Fun course to play, conditions have been improving since they opened in 2008, good rates, and nice folks in the golf shop. Good option for value golf in the ABE area.
