Wisconsin River Golf Club

The Wisconsin River Golf Club is a lower cost alternative to SentryWorld in Stevens Point. It's along the Wisconsin River on the south side of town off West River Drive. The course has been around since the 1960's, designed by Larry Roberts, and from the back tees plays to 6,584 yards, we play from the Blues at 6,394 yards, 70.5/123 ratings. Nice course and setting, with 9 great holes, and 9 so-so holes. The front side is the best of the layout, through the trees, scenic and challenging, while the backside is a little tightly packed, and somewhat uninteresting. You can't beat the rates here, conditions are usually fair, just not an upscale course or experience.
