Windance is a Mark McCumber design in Gulfport, 6,600 yards from the back tees, 129 slope, routed over rolling hills, water, and mostly tree lined fairways, but with some more open holes. Good variety of holes not too penal, well conditioned, and a good, more inexpensive alternative to Grand Bear, Shell Landing, or the Bridges. The course is routed through a residential community north of I-10, exit 34.

Fair but challenging course in reasonably good shape with a couple of holes that, out of the starting gate, look to be fairly straight forward and benign, but gets a little tougher as you play on. The routing is through old oaks, pines, water, and wetlands, mostly level with some good downhill and uphill holes, along with mounding. , The greens are small, run true and fast, even slippery; most are roll-up, it's not unusual to hit the green on a pitch or chip and, the ball keeps rolling and rolling, running off the back or side.
