Wilmington Municipal is obviously a muni run by the city. It's crowded and cheap, and is on the east side of town, just south of the University of N Carolina at Wilmington. It's a classic Donald Ross designed course of 6500 yards from the mid-1920's, well preserved, and a pleasure to play somewhat back in time. Parkland style course of course, mostly straightforward holes, small greens, and the Ross style deep faced bunkers. Maintenance suspect at times, always slow.
