Willow Valley Golf Course is located next to the Hamilton International Airport. It's 6522 from the blue tees, a 72.2 handicap rating, and a slope of 136. IT was designed by Graham Cooke, not only a golf course architect, but also an excellent amateur golfer in his own right as two time winner of the Canadian Senior Championship and seven-time winner of the Canadian Mid-Amateur Championship. He has an appreciation for average golfers, and has provided us with a course with wide fairways, big greens, and wide open expanse with few trees. It's a relatively flat piece of ground, but the fairways are moderately undulating, providing a number of unpredictable lies. There's an average amount of bunkering, deep and sculptured, as well as a couple of water holes. It's a good solid course, may be a little overpriced, and convenient to the QEW.
