This William Newcomb design opened in 1980 and is part of the regional Huron Clinton Metropark system. This par 71 course tips out at 6,397 yards (70.0/124 rating). There are three alternate sets of tees that allow one to adjust the difficulty. The routing is located in the Huron River's flood plain so there are significant wetlands and ponds to navigate around. This is not a good course when the weather has been wet for a prolonged amount of time. The terrain is essentially flat save for the 10th tee. A number of holes are bordered by dense woodland but generally the driving areas are generous. A moderate amount of greenside bunkering requires either a degree of accuracy for one's approach or a decent sand game. Of the Metropark courses to the west of Detroit, this is the most interesting of the layouts. Access is from I-275 south of I-94. Exit at Sibley Road (east) and take Huron River Drive south.
