Located on the southwest side of Bend, an excellent, tight course winding through tall ponderosa pine tree lined fairways that feel like chutes. The greens are on the small side with sloping and breaks that continue to confound me. They also have a par 5, which is 635 yards, maybe the longest one in the US. The course is 6,911 yard from the back tees, with a 73.4 course rating and a 134 slope. It was designed by Robert Muir Graves, and opened in 1991. It's in a very scenic location, above the Deschutes River and with views of the Cascades.
