Whitepath is up in the Chattahoochee National Forest in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Georgia. It's located just 90 miles north of Atlanta and 75 miles from Chattanooga, between Ellijay and Blue Ridge, GA. It's a mountain style of layout, carved through the trees with great views and major elevation change. It was designed by Rocky Roquemore, and from the tips is 6,139 yards, 68.6/126 ratings. The layout has a number of elevated tees with nice views, hilly and sloping fairways, and small greens, and is tougher than the course ratings indicate. The course conditions have suffered in recent years, as most courses have been experiencing less play, but it's still a good alternative if you're in the area.

Played yesterday, the golf course iis in great shape - only a little more than an hour outside of Chattanooga, this course is not a great course to boost your confidence, more mountain style of play with hilly and sloping fairways and small greens affects your ability to score. The fairways were in great condition, the rough had some brown patches, but nothing that really affected your shot. The greens were the best part of the course, all 18 greens were in perfect shape, they rolled true
