For the budget minded in an area with high priced courses, this is a great offer. It's located just outside and overlooking North Berwick, Scotland on Whitekirk Hill, and provides views of East Lothian, Fife, Bass Rock and Tantallon Castle. The course opened in 1995, and was designed by Cameron Sinclair, and plays to 6,420, par 71 from the regular tees. It's somewhat links in character set on treeless land on undulating and wide fairways. Somewhat small and at times narrow greens, well guarded by bunkers throughout the course. There was very little done here with earth moving, the architect just created the layout with the existing terrain, providing a good deal of character to the course. Some great elevated tees for 360 degree views of the East Lothian area. The course has all the links features, gorse, blind shots, rocky outcrops, punishing rough, and grassy hollows. Reasonably good condition, friendly and warm clubhouse staff,
