White Deer Golf Course

White Deer is in Montgomery, south of Williamsport by about 15 miles. There's a total of two 18 hole championship courses here along with a 9 hole executive course. The Challenge course is the toughest layout here and is 6,587 yards from the back tees and a 133 slope, designed by Lindsay Ervin with water in play on 11 holes. The second course, the Vintage is 6,400 yards from the tips with a 121 slope and designed by Ken Polakowski, and is more open and links style. Nice conditioning, good pace of play, great variety of holes, and reasonable greens fees.
