The course is southwest of downtown Erie, just north of I-90. It's a relatively new parkland style course with nice elevation change and tight tree lined fairways that plays to 6726 yards, 140 slope from the back tees, and designed by John Exley. The course is not for the high handicapper, 15 and below will enjoy it from the correct tees. The fairways are pinched by the trees, the elevation change and sloping hills force you to really think your way around the course. It's moderately bunkered, there's streams and waterfalls all in a beautiful setting, and the best course in the Erie area. Mid-sized, somewhat elevated, contoured and fast greens, and all very well maintained.

If you don’t place your tee shots in certain spots on nearly every hole, you’re asking for trouble in the form of uneven lies and challenging obstacles on your way to the green. Course was in good shape overall, pace of play just at 4 hours.
