Whispering Creek Golf Club
Whispering Creek is on the southeast side of Sioux City off Morningside Avenue. It's partially routed through a residential development, and can play from 5,100 to 7,100 yards, and from the back tees the ratings are 74.9/133, designed by Todd Sapp in 2001. It's one of my favorite golf courses in the area with good variety of different holes and elevation change, mostly open, but the trees they planted when they built the course are starting to grow in a bit. A good amount of water in play, especially on the front side. The golf course is well cared for, rates are fair for the quality of the course and the facilities.
