West Woods Golf Club is a housing development course in Arvada with three nine hole courses-The Silo, The Cottonwood, and The Sleeping Indian and is set Rocky Mountain foothills. Great elevation changes with great mountain views, rolling hills, and a stream running through the course. There were designed by Dick and Rick Phelps. The Sleeping Indian nine is more open as the other two, but has Ralston Creek is in play throughout along with good change in elevation. Cottonwood has the most tree lined fairways as well as a lot of water in play, while Silo has plenty of water to cross as well as the old silo to get around on the 5th hole, and has the best views on the course. Great conditions and rates, convenient to the Denver area. The yardages an hole combinations are:Sleeping Indian/Cottonwood: 7,035 yards 72.8 course rating and 135) from the tips. Cottonwood/Silo: 6,761 yards, 71.6 course rating and 130 slope, Silo/Sleeping Indian: 6,722 yards, 71.4 course rating and 131 slope.
