Inexpensive muni, south of downtown, designed by Chandler Eagan, Pebble Beach's architect, in 1939. Views of the city, decent shape, but pace of play is an issue, especially on weekends. 6623 yards from the back tees, 119 slope. Big, old classic course, too bad it's a muni and not a private club, or it would be better cared for. It's somewhat challenging, especially the set of finishing holes that switchback on the hillside back to the finish at the clubhouse. The front nine is mostly flat and winds along Longfellow Creek, while the back side is a little more hilly and tougher. Great views from a couple holes of downtown Seattle and Elliot Bay
