West Rridge is on the southwest side of Salt Lake, just east of the Hercules south of West 4700 South. It's a hilly and fun course to play, one of the better ones in the Valley at a reasonable price. It was designed by William Neff and plays to 6,673 yards from the tips, 72.2/125. Nice change in elevation throughout the course, it's a links style of layout with a few trees in play, a lot of water and hazards, blind shots, it's got a little of everything to mess up a good golf score! It's always windy out there, seems like the course was built in a wind tunnel for the Hercules plant to test jet aircraft! Good sized greens, mostly open at the front allowing the bump and run shot, which you have to use here to have a chance at scoring. Nice views of the entire Valley and the city from the elevated tees on many holes.
