Highly underrated hidden gem, this is a cracking links course. Ugly clubhouse, but the golf course is well done and provides good variation of holes and character. 10 Miles north of Liverpool, England. It opened in 1873, and can play to 6,720 yards, par 72. It's moderate rolling through the sandhills, and the fescue rough if penal. The 13th-15th have a parkland feel to them, and are a break from the links and wind. Highly recommended, you'll be pleased you made the trip.
