The Wenham CC is between Gloucester and Peabody, off Rt 128 in Beverly on Dodge Street, then north. It's a semi-private club, executive style of layout with one par 5, the rest par 4's and 3's, playing to 4,500 yards, par 65. Reasonably well conditioned, enjoyable and very straightforward routing with scattered trees lining the fairways. There's a couple of blind shots, water or wetlands in play, and lightly bunkered. You might overpower the course, but unless you have a good short game, you won't score well, as the greens are small targets. It's hilly, but walkable, short and good for a quick game, and usually in decent shape.
