Best course in the metroplex and has the best bent grass greens also. This is the best value of any course around Dallas/Ft. Worth. I have played many courses and you owe it to yourself to check this course out. The course was designed by Gary Panks in 2000, and plays to 7,191 yards, 128/74.1 ratings from the tips, down to 5,400 yards from the shortest tees. It's routed through a residential community in Rowlett, east of Dallas, on the west side of Lake Ray Hubbard, north of Lakeview Parkway off Liberty Grove Road. Forgiving course, but it's long, and there's a good amount of water in play. Relatively flat, walkable, and very reasonably priced, as compared to other courses in the area.

Course is in excellent shape for late in the season. Bunker sand is a little firm but tees, fairways, rough, and greens are great. Course has been a little difficult to get on because of numerous tournaments and outings. Snack bar has a large selection of items. Waterview has always been one of my favorite local courses.
