Waterlefe is routed along the Manatee River, on the east side of Bradenton, east of I-75 off Rt 64. Very nice course and experience, but not for the high handicapper. There's a few holes right on the river and are very scenic, the balance run through an upscale residential community. From the back tees it's 6,908 yards, par 72, 73.8 course rating and 141 slope, and has four other sets of tees, and designed by Ted McAnlis in 2000. The locals here call it water-grief since there's water in play on all but three holes, so it's really target golf. Very scenic setting, the course was in immaculate condition, and the four holes along the river were superb. Just a very challenging course, especially the first time you play it, you will invest a few Pro Vi's here, even on a good round! Greens are good and very true. A little expensive, but it's one of the better courses in town.

Excellent course. Every aspect was perfect. A lot more challenging then it looks. Worth the trip from Tampa.
