Waterford is a Hale Irwin designed course in Rock Hill, south of Charlotte, and west of I-77 at exit 79. It's a challenging, shotmaker's course at 6942 yards, 137 slope. The course is routed through heavy tree lined fairways along the Catawba River, and has water hazards or wetlands in play on 13 holes. Small to mid-sized greens, with moderate speed and undulations, some raised and most well bunkered. This is a course management type of drill, you need a series of placement shots as you make your way around the course, accuracy required to score well. Nice conditioning and reasonable rates.
