Warrior Golf Club
Warrior Golf Club is only 20 minutes from the Lake Norman area on Lake Wright Road off of highway 152, just west of China Grove, and you can get there either on I-85 or I-77, depending on where you're coming from. It's actually a very nice parkland style of course, good for all levels of play, well maintained, and reasonable greens fees. The course is routed over rolling hills with thick tree lined fairways, wide enough off the tee, but narrows on approach to the greens. There's a lot of water in play with 11 ponds, and about 40 bunkers, mostly around the green.The course has a number of holes around Lake Wright, but it really doesn't come into play. It's a par 71, and plays from 4400 yards to 6600 yards. 127 slope from the back tees, and was designed by Stan Gentry. Some of the best greens in the Charlotte area, but a little expensive, especially on the weekends.

Played as a foursome. We played in 4 hours. Tee boxs, Greens, Fairways were all in good shape. This course has come a long way. Staff was very nice and helpful. Great price for a good course. I will go back! Flag Content
