Walter Hall is a city of Everett owned and operated course. It's a true muni, but doesn't act like one, except for the rates, and sometimes crowded conditions. It's east of the Snohomish County Airport, just south of the Boeing Freeway. It's a parkland layout designed by Chandler Eagen and can play from 6,433 yards at the back tees, to 5,219 yards at the forward tees. Great views of the Olympic and Cascade Mountain Ranges. The front side is actually a little back and forth with tight fairways, but the back opens up a bit and is more interesting, with a lot of character. Not the quality layout for Everett's other muni, Legions, but still a solid course and layout.

Sloooooow play, but a reasonable greens fee for those of us on a budget. Conditions were tolerable, course had some good holes, greens were a little rough
