The Waldorf Astoria Golf Club is part of the Waldorf resort on Disney property, near Epcot. The course was designed by the "Open Doctor" Rees Jones, and 7113 yards with a Par 72, Slope 130, and 72.5 from the tips, with four other sets of tees. It's a classic Florida parkland style of layout with cypress, pine, and palm tree lined fairways, water on all but three holes, and well bunkered. The greens are small and elevated greens, undulating, and well guarded by wetlands, water, or bunkers. Overall, very well landscaped, first class clubhouse, facilities, conditions, and service, no houses or development on the course, the only noise is the occasional train whistle from Disneyworld, and the traffic from I-4 which surrounds the course.

We recently stayed at the Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek over the Christmas weekend. This is great, upscale hotel; which adjoins a Wldorf Astoria, much more expensive though. If you have a chance, try the golf course, it's definitely challenging, designed by the Open Doctor, excellent conditioning, but bring a lot of golf balls!

Had the chance to play the Waldorf Astoria course on a $100 greens fee during the Thanksgiving weekend. Service, conditioning, especially the greens, the facilties were all top notch, but we felt the course was very penal. The landing zones just didn't seem wide enough for slightly erramt drives and approaches, with sand, brush, water, landscaping bordering the fairways and greens. Thought only a couple of holes were really fun risk/reward type holes, the balance straightforward back and forth holes, bordered by sand and mounded fairways over fairly level land. Enjoyed Hawk's Nest, Grand Cypress and any of the Disney Courses much more. I suspect the lower handicapper might enjoy this course more.

Very nice course. I played it yesterday and it was in very good shape, but had a few soggy areas from alot of recent rain. It's a long course playing from the blues at 6700+, and it played a couple hundred yards longer with the soft conditions. Very receptive fairways...allowing for driver off the tee, but you better bring your A+ iron game. Lots of hazards around the greens, contours, ridges, etc. As I recall the greens were fairly quik too. This is a course you need to think your way around, and not get in too big a hurry. was lucky enough to haveI played it for $80, but my understanding is they will go to about $150 in October. I would go back again but not for $150
