Victory Links Golf Course

Victory Links is in the far north suburbs of Minneapolis in Blaine, just north of the airport off Central Avenue at 105th, north of the airport. Links style layout, wide open off the tee, huge greens, open in front, wide variety of tees from 2,800 yards to over 7,000 yards. Designed by the PGA Tour with the youth/beginner golfer in mind, but a quality layout, and fairly well maintained, just on the expensive side. While it's level and walkable, there's a good distance between some of the greens and tees. The challenge was great - not a lot of woods, but prairie grasses lining the fairways made it difficult to find an errant shots. Not much water in play, a lake comes into play on two holes, and a stream along a few more, but a good amount of sand throughout. We played from the Gold tees, 6,282 yards, 70.5/131, and found it to be a good test.
