Veteran's Memorial Golf Club

Veterans Memorial is on the north side of town on US 12, across from the Borleske Stadium. The layout is parkland style with trees lining most of the fairways, a very straightforward golf course, with everything right before you, you only have to hit the straight ball to score well here. Scant amount of bunkers, mostly around the greens, well conditioned, and reasonably priced to play. The course has been around since the 1940's, was designed by Frank James, and from the back tees plays to 6,600 yards down to 5,400 yards from the reds, we play from the whites at around 6,000 yards with a 69.2 course rating and 111 slope. Good alternative to Wine Valley if you're on a budget.
