Ron Garl designed 27 hole course through a residential development located west of I-75 between University and SR 70 in Sarasota. Nicely conditioned course, the first nine is the toughest of the the three, with the second and third nines more open off the tee. All three have sand and water on most holes, and from the tips will play up to 7100 yards, down to around 5500 yards from the shortest tees. Nice mix of holes with some more open, and some tree lined, with a couple great par 3's. Usually in good shape, the rates are some of the more reasonable in town, but the course does get a lot of play in the season. It was private until a few years ago, and there's still a good membership here, so the course and service reflect more of a private club atmosphere.
