Twin Silos is a couple miles south of Huntington on Rt 152 in Lavalette. It's definitely one of the better courses in the area, it's nicely conditioned, has a lot of variety in the course with big elevation change, water, sand, trees, a double green, even a par six. From the back tees, it's only 6200+ yards, 118 slope, and was designed by Bill Ward, but it's still challenging, yet fun to play.

Played Twin Silos for the first time this week as I was passing through the area. Wasn't too impressed with the golf course, the conditions, or the rates. First the course seemed overpriced for the area and the quality of the course and conditions. Second, the greens were patchy, and they'd been recently punched. Finally, the golf course is tricked up with some quirky holes, and the elevation changed to it doesn't help with the first time you play.
