Twin Lakes is a nice homey type of course, not upscale by any stretch, but a reasonably good course and conditions to play with the family. It is located off Highway 62 close to the 412 by-pass in Eastern side of Mountain Home. The front 9-holes opened in 1959 and were designed by Herman Hackbarth, and the back side by Cecil Hollingsworth in the 1970's. Traditional style of course in the Ozark mountains with tree lined fairways, few bunkers, a little water, and overall fun, yet challenging course to play. From the back tees it's almost 6,000 yards, par 70, 69.1/116 ratings.
