Tuscany is on the southeast side of Las Vegas, between Boulder Highway, and Lake Las Vegas, in a residential development that's about half-baked, like most of Las Vegas. The course is a Ted Robinson design, routed through homes and desert landscape, and plays to 6906 yards from the tips, 72.4/132, but we played from Rossa tees at 6,135 yards, 67.7/123, and it was all we needed in a challenge. While the pace of play was painfully slow, the course was in good condition, and the rates were lower than we found in most of the upscale courses in Vegas. There's some nice views of the mountains and the strip from the course, it's very green and soft, plenty well watered. Fair off the tee, challenging on approach to the greens, very enjoyable experience without breaking the bank.

Tuscany is one of the courses that we play a lot each year. It is always in fairly good shape no matter what the time of year. The front nine is very tough especially 2-6. The back nine is fairly open and much easier than the front. The greens had been aerated and were starting to come back in. The fairways were in good shape. Some of the teeboxes are being repaired so you are pushed back to the tips on some holes. The staff is always great as this is a family owned course. Pace of play here is always good and we walked up without teetime and went straught to the first tee. This overall is a nice little golf course.
