Turkey Creek is 40 minutes south of Salina, an hour north of Wichita in Mcpherson, off I-185 at the Kansas Avenue exit then west toward town. It's a relatively short course, but fun and challenging to play, the only choice for an 18 hole course for miles. It's 6,200 yards from the tips, par of 70 with a 125 slope. Lots of water and trees to contend with here, a real shot maker's favored layout where bombers end up in the trees or water. Course management is the key here to plotting your way around the course, and having a shot at par. Rates are fairly reasonable, and conditioning usually good, although it tends to be wet and soggy after a major storm.
