Tumwater is a muni, just off the I-5 south of Olympia, and is a nice, parkland style of golf with slightly rolling terrain. From the back tees it's 7,154 yards, 118 slope, and was designed by Roy Goss and Glen Proctor in 1970. The course is routed on rolling hills and river land next to the Olympia brewery land. The greens here are always good and moderately fast, the fairways mostly tree lined, but with decent room off the tee. It does get a lot of play, so weekends are tough.

A beautiful course with excellent conditions. The course offers forgiving fairways, but challenges you on the sloping undulating greens. Rough is thick and tough to hit out of, so swing hard and make sure you go up a club or two.
