Tuckaway is in the far southern suburbs of Chicago on the southeast side of Crete between I-65 and I-57. The course is well out in the country with nothing but natural borders along the holes other than a few homes. The course plays short at 6,192, par 71, 69.7/117 ratings yards from the back tees, and has been around since the early 1960's, designed by John Ellis. The layout is over rolling hills with tree lined fairways, with postage stamp, raised greens like small targets. Great value, conditioning is good generally, and it's a fun and varied layout to play.
