Truth Or Consequences Municipal Golf Course

Truth or Consequences is a muni run by the city,. it's right next to I-25, just south of exit 79, and is about the only course to play in these parts.other than Sierra del Rio in Elephant Butte. You can also stop at Socorro and play NM Tech, or keep going to Las Cruces where there's a couple of good courses. I decided to stop here and rest the truck a spell and play. Very plain vanilla course, holes straight up and back, mostly open and links-like although there's some trees. It's only nine holes, and that's all I played, About 3,100 yards, with three sets of tees, plenty for my game. It only cost $12 to play, the course was in decent shape, and I played with a couple of nice locals. All in all a nice break from driving.
