Triggs Memorial is a Providence area muni standard, the course was designed by Donald Ross, who summered in the area in the 1930's. It plays to 6,522 yards, 71.5/129, course/slope ratings with two shorter tee boxes, and much of the original design remaining intact.
The routing is characterized by small greens protected by deep bunkers, with the fairways tree lined and narrow at times. The par fives are potentially reachable in two, the front nine is mostly flat, while the back provides some elevation changes, but is easily walkable.
