The Championship course was laid out by Harry Colt in 1924, and plays to 6,967 yards from the medal tees..It's located on The North Cornish Coastline overlooking Booby's Bay, Mackeral Cove and far out at sea the Quies Rocks. The course is in two loops of 9 holes with the front 9 holes hugging the sand dunes and coastline and back 9 forming inland links, and the sea can be seen from every hole. The wind is the course's major defence, guaranteeing the golf course plays differently almost every day. The greens are quick, undulating, and small. The fairways are tightly cut and the rough penal in places, along with bunkers throughout. If you have not been to Trevose for 2 years or more you need to get back and enjoy the fantastic changes/investment that has been made to seriously upgrade this course. The fairways have great definition, pot bunkers everywhere and generally it is in superb condition. This is now a top flight golf course. There are accommodations here as well if you're inclined to stay in the area. It's located 4 hours or so west of London, England.
