The Trace at Bays Fork is 30 minutes southeast of Bowling Green, take Cemetery Road south out of town, right on Hayes, then right on Rt 961 to the golf course. It's not always in the best of shape, but it's an interesting layout with a lot of variety to the holes. Some are open and links-style while others are parkland, over rolling hills with only a couple of houses on the course. It was designed by Bob Baldock in the mid-1990's, and from the tips can play to 6,688 yards with a 73.2 course rating and a 130 slope, but has three shorter sets of tees. The fairways will have weeds in a couple of spots, but for the most part is tolerable, and the customer service is excellent. It's not Olde Stone, but you either have to play with a member there or stay at one of the cottages to play there..
