Totteridge is a Rees Jones layout with a lot of variety, very challenging, he didn't get the "Open Doctor" nickname for nothing. We played from the Blue tees at 6,600 yards, 71.2/134, but the course had one longer and two shorter sets of tees. The course is about 20 minutes east of Monroeville on the east side of Pittsburgh, off William Penn Highway, then south on PA 819. The course is really fun to play, quick undulating greens, interesting and varied layout, and always in the best of shape. the only complaint would be the expense, especially on the weekends. The routing is over rolling hills, links-style of play with elevated tee boxes, mounded fairway, a lot of bunkering, fast greens, in a scenic setting. One of our better public courses on the east side of town.

All aspects of the course are in excellent condition. However the price is a high. There are too many other courses that are currently in excellent condition that can be played for a lot less money. Aside from the cost, the layout the condition and the staff make me want to play this course again but it may be a while before I do.
