Tom O'Leary is a Bismarck muni, it's just south of I-94, and northwest of downtown, on Washington Street. It's a short 18 hole, par 68 course at 5,422 yards and has a par of 68 routed over some rolling hills with good elevation change, mostly open. There are some tree lined fairways with views of the surrounding city of Bismarck. It's tough to score well here because the greens are such small targets. Good solid golf course, reasonably priced, not much in the way of facilities or clubhouse, and walkable, although it's a little tiring. The course was designed by Dan Waldoch in the 1960's, and plays to a 95 slope and a 63.9 course rating. Better for the higher handicappers and beginners, not a high end course at all.

Course is in perfect shape right now. The greens were fast, green and unblemished, the fairways were perfect and the rest the experience was fantastic. O'Leary is definitely a must play, for a muni
