The course is located 40 minutes outside of Eugene on the way to Bend. It was designed by one of my favorite architects, Ted Robinson and plays to over 6,800 yards and a 127 slope from the back tees. It's your basic mountain course with great views of the Sisters Mountains all around, and is routed through pine and redwoods forests. The start provides some more open warm up holes, but then starts to get tight constricted by the trees, at the fairways and on approach to the small to mid-sized and relatively fast greens. A real gem in the area, and worth including, always in great shape. Easy to walk.

Played this week on vacation in the area and it was one of the best courses for scenery I have ever played! They had a PGA pro am this week there also, but it is open to the public, and just a great place way in the mountains to visit. All kinds of old growth trees with cedar trees that looked like redwoods!!! I highly recommend this course if you are in Southern Oregon! This course has got all kinds of great reviews and is very reasonable in terms of cost, so if you get a chance put this one on the on your agenda!
