Timberlake Golf Club

The Timberlake CC is on the east side of Clinton, about 5 minutes off I-40 at exit 364/Hwy 24 to the west. The course is somewhat new and is part of a real estate development that opened in 2004. It's routed partially through homes and homesites, but a good many of the holes are bordered by natural corridors. It was designed by Michael Gleason, 6,500 yards from the tips, the White tees were just over 6,000 yards. Interesting and diverse course, some parkland features and some links features. It had some good risk/reward opportunities, and was just fun to play with some change in elevation adding character to it. The fairways are mounded and contoured with plenty of waste and pot bunkers scattered throughout lined by tall fescue. Full driving range and new putting green, rates were reasonable and conditioning good.
